I just wanted to point out a very interesting fact: GEORGIA is #1… and FLORIDA is #5… LSU is #6… AUBURN is #11… TENN is #18–all SEC. Then we have the ACC… CLEMSON #9… VIRGINA TECH #15… WAKE FOREST #23… man it’s tough being a winner. It looks like the top 25 is made up of every team in the South! Then if you look under “Others receiving votes”… there are another 11 SEC & ACC teams mentioned.

Where’s the west coast…..? Oh yeah SC and Arizona State….wow…ya’ll have a lot of good teams on the west coast.

I am seriously considering starting a petition that the PAC-10 be categorized as a “mid-major” conference.

So that’s how it’s gonna be this season, Miss Ashley?! The smack has started 4 weeks before UCLA even kicks off. Alright, you’ve poked the beast…

FYI: UCLA opens against an overrated Tennessee team on Monday, September 1st. I hope the vaunted SEC doesn’t stumble against the PAC–or I’m going to be insufferable. You’ve never seen a Bruin fan really gloat… yet!

  4. Kentucky Joe on August 1st, 2008 9:45 am

I would be willing to put a bet on the game if you are so inclined.

  5. Atlanta Ashley on August 1st, 2008 9:55 am

THAT’S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT…. Braveheartless…..put your money
    where your mouth is!

  6. Braveheartless on August 1st, 2008 10:05 am

    You’re on! I see you wearing a McCain ‘08 T-Shirt–or maybe a “I voted for Lil’ Bush in ‘04″ T-shirt. I haven’t decided yet.

  7. Atlanta Ashley on August 1st, 2008 10:20 am

I’m a Republican… I have no problem wearing one of those shirts! If you want to embarrass me… make me wear an Osama shirt… I mean Obama shirt… O never mind… its practically the same thing. ;)

  8. Braveheartless on August 1st, 2008 11:47 am

Ashley, I would make you wear an Obama shirt after Tennessee loses… but that would punish me, too! Don’t worry, though: I’ll think of something appropriate–something that will humiliate your SEC-ACC-Southern-”Paris is Europe’s Atlanta” hubris and simultaneously amuse me. ;)

Is this the best you got? The next thing you will be doing is running ads talking about how the SEC is the messiah, etc.

Please let me know if anyone needs that one explained….

Umm, I need some help with that obscure reference to god and the Securities Exchange Commission. Is that some kind of weak corporate lawyer smack?

  12. Kentucky Joe on August 4th, 2008 10:20 am

    Play on weak republican smack…

Here I thought I mine was weak…. Your smack right now is as bad as your golf game yesterday!

  14. Braveheartless on August 4th, 2008 11:20 am

Ouch! Sure, Kentucky Joe’s smack is as soft as Kentucky’s defensive line, but to insult a man’s golf game is just cold… and I loved it!

Atlanta Ashley’s wise to keep a low profile. Stuart is not taking prisoners.

  15. Kentucky Joe on August 4th, 2008 12:17 pm

You guys are wise to talk as much smack as possible before the season starts…

Kentucky kicks QB Pulley off team for rules violations

WOW, the hits keep coming for good ole Kentucky Wildcat football !!! I love this…. ” Pulley was arrested on traffic charges last month in Hardin County. In June, he also received a citation for marijuana possession in Louisville. Pulley missed last season because of academic reasons.”

    LOL!!!
